What is the difference between a Transparent OLED and a Transparent LCD?
Transparent OLED’s are made up of pixels that emit their own light whereas Transparent LCD’s need a backlight in order to produce an image, this is why Transparent LCD’s require full housing solutions to create the best possible image. Another key difference is that when turned off, Transparent OLED screens remain transparent, unlike Transparent LCD’s which are not see through when switched off, simply displaying a black screen.
